Organic Beef Cattle Feed – Starter (0–100 Days)
Prepared for the adaptation and development period of cattle newly brought into fattening. It is aimed at meeting the changing nutrient needs in a balanced way, sustaining healthy growth and supporting development suited to fattening.
A balanced start to fattening
The first 100 days of fattening are an important period in which the animal adapts to its new feeding regime and growth accelerates. The aim at this stage is not just live weight gain, but supporting steady development of feed intake, the preservation of rumen function and the animal’s healthy adaptation to the fattening programme.
Bioyem Organic Fattening Starter Feed is an organic compound feed prepared for the nutritional needs of cattle in the first 100 days of fattening; as a concentrate, it does not replace roughage and is used together with roughage in the ration.
In this period, the balance of energy and protein in particular, as well as fibre, minerals and other nutrients, is important. Running the feeding programme gradually and in line with the animal’s development helps fattening performance progress soundly in later periods.
Monitoring feed intake, live weight gain and overall animal condition together in the starter period is important for managing the fattening programme correctly.
