Candidate Pool Explicit Consent Form
1. Purpose of Explicit Consent
I acknowledge that I have read the Job Application Privacy Notice provided to me by Biosmyrna Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Biosmyrna”) in connection with my job application, and that I have been informed about the processing of my personal data.
This Explicit Consent Form governs my explicit consent, separately from the assessment of my current job application, to the processing of my personal data for the purpose of assessing it in the candidate pool for job or internship positions that may arise at Biosmyrna in the future and that may match my qualifications.
2. Personal Data Subject to Explicit Consent
Within the scope of the candidate pool, the following data provided by me during the application process and necessary for this purpose may be processed:
- my identity information (first name and surname),
- my contact information (email address, telephone number and, if I provided it, the city where I live),
- my education information,
- my professional experience and career information,
- information on the position or field of work I applied for,
- other professional information in my CV and my cover letter.
No special categories of personal data are processed within the scope of the candidate pool.
3. Purpose of Processing
Under my explicit consent, I consent to my personal data being processed for the purposes of:
- being assessed in the candidate pool for suitable job or internship positions that may arise in the future,
- identifying positions that may match my qualifications,
- contacting me if a suitable position arises.
This explicit consent does not replace the personal data processing activities necessary for Biosmyrna to assess my current job application, and it cannot be put forward as a mandatory condition for those activities.
4. Retention Period
My personal data processed within the scope of the candidate pool is retained for the period stated below and in accordance with the relevant legislation:
Candidate pool retention period: 1 year from the date on which explicit consent is given
When the set retention period expires, or the legal reason requiring continued retention in the candidate pool ceases to exist, my personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the relevant legislation.
5. Voluntary Nature of Explicit Consent
Joining the candidate pool is voluntary.
The candidate pool consent box on the application form is not mandatory and is not pre-ticked. You can submit your application without ticking this box.
Declining to join the candidate pool does not affect the assessment of my current job application, and I will not be subjected to any unfavourable treatment for this reason.
6. Withdrawal of Explicit Consent
I may withdraw my explicit consent relating to the candidate pool at any time.

If I withdraw my explicit consent, data processing activities within the scope of the candidate pool after the date of withdrawal are stopped, unless another legal processing condition applies.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of explicit consent before the date of withdrawal.
7. Transfer of Personal Data
My personal data processed within the scope of the candidate pool may be transferred, only where necessary to achieve the relevant purposes and where the conditions set out in the KVKK are met, to:
- authorised persons at Biosmyrna involved in recruitment processes,
- the provider of the server (hosting) on which the website is hosted and the email service provider — solely for the technical operation of the service,
- legally authorised public institutions and organisations.
Candidate pool records are not transferred to a cloud-based applicant tracking system (ATS), human resources software or an external storage service; the records are kept in the website’s own database.
8. Transfer Abroad
Personal data within the scope of the candidate pool is kept on the server on which the website is located; it is not transferred to any other service provider or platform.
The servers on which the hosting and email services are run are located in Türkiye.
Your personal data is therefore not transferred abroad.
Where a transfer abroad is to take place, it is carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.
9. Relationship with the Privacy Notice
This Explicit Consent Form relating to the candidate pool does not replace the Job Application Privacy Notice.
Information on the purposes for which and the legal grounds on which my personal data is processed in connection with the job application and the candidate pool, to whom it may be transferred, and my rights under the KVKK is provided in the Job Application Privacy Notice.
This form is intended solely to obtain my explicit consent for the personal data processing activities identified as necessary for assessment in the candidate pool.
10. Declaration of Explicit Consent
I have read the explanations above.
I give my explicit consent to the processing of my personal data, separately from the assessment of my current job application, for the purpose of assessing it in the candidate pool for job or internship positions that may arise at Biosmyrna Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in the future and that may match my qualifications, and of contacting me if suitable positions are found.
This consent is presented as a separate box on the job application form; it is not pre-ticked and is not required in order to submit the application.
