Sheep & goats - Organic Lamb Feeds
Organic Lamb Feed – Starter (0–2 Months)
Prepared for the early period, when lambs develop rapidly. It is aimed at meeting the increasing nutrient needs of this period, supporting steady growth and helping lambs move healthily into the next period.
The first period of sound development
A lamb’s first two months are an important period in which fast growth begins and the digestive system develops. The aim during this process is not only to support live weight gain, but to ensure that skeletal, muscle and digestive system development progress in a balanced way appropriate to age.
Bioyem Organic Lamb Starter Feed is an organic compound feed prepared for the nutritional needs of 0–2-month-old lambs in their early development period; as a concentrate, it does not replace roughage and is used together with roughage in the ration.
In this period, a balanced supply of energy, protein, amino acids, minerals and other nutrients is important for supporting the transition to solid feed as well as the lamb’s growth performance.
A gradual increase in the lamb’s solid feed intake and the adaptation of its digestive system to this feeding regime are an important step towards the transition to the next growing period.
The right starter feeding programme helps prepare lambs in a balanced way for the 2–6-month growing period.
