Our main field of activity is organic product trade. We connect organic agricultural products sourced from Türkiye and other supply sources with customers in domestic and foreign markets, while also carrying out feed production and raw material trade in certain product groups.
We see our product groups not as a long list, but as a commercial structure in which each complements the others.
Grains
Organic grains are one of the important groups in our trading activities.
We source products in different qualities and specifications according to the product’s intended use and the customer’s request, and develop commercial solutions for domestic and foreign markets.
In grain trade, not only the product’s quantity but also its quality characteristics, analyses, organic status, origin and delivery terms are assessed together.
Pulses
Lentils, chickpeas and other pulses are also among the important areas of our organic product trade.
With pulses, the product’s physical characteristics, purity, grain structure, quality criteria and the customer’s intended use matter in the sourcing decision.
Different packaging and shipment options can be considered as needed.
Oilseeds
Organic oilseeds are also part of our trading activities.
In this product group, there can be commercial structures for both direct trade and making use of the products obtained after processing.
Especially for products such as soybeans and sunflower seeds, we also take into account the commercial link between the raw material and the processed product.
Feed Raw Materials
Organic feed raw materials are an important area where Biosmyrna’s trading activities and feed production infrastructure meet.
For protein sources, energy sources and other feed raw materials, the product’s nutritional characteristics, quality criteria and organic status are assessed together.
Our commercial experience in this area also provides an important foundation for our own feed production activities.
Spices
Organic spices are another group in our product portfolio.
In spice trade, purity, analysis results, the product’s source and the customer’s specifications matter alongside the product’s physical characteristics.
Especially in international trade, clarifying in advance the quality and documentation terms the customer wants is important for sourcing the right product.
Production alongside trade
Biosmyrna’s activities are not limited to product trade.
At our feed facility in Torbalı, İzmir, we produce organic animal feed and offer these products under the Bioyem brand.
This means that, for some product groups, we can also make use of the organic raw materials we source within our own production infrastructure.
