Poultry - Organic Laying Hen Feeds
Organic Layer Feed – Chick (0–8 Weeks)
Prepared for the first period, when chicks develop rapidly. The main aim in this period is to provide balanced nutrition that supports healthy skeletal and muscle development, body growth and the development of the digestive system.
The start of sound development
The first 8 weeks of a chick’s life lay the foundation for growth and flock performance in later periods. The aim in this period is not just fast growth, but balanced support for skeletal structure, muscle development, the digestive system and overall body development.
Bioyem Organic Chick Feed is an organic compound feed prepared for the development period of 0–8-week-old chicks in organic laying hen farming.
In this period, chicks’ nutrient needs differ from those of later ages. For this reason, feeds for adult laying hens should not be used to meet the needs of chicks.
A feed that is balanced in energy, protein, amino acids, minerals and other nutrients is important for supporting development appropriate to the chicks’ age.
The right feeding programme in the chick period lays the foundation for a healthy transition to the pullet period.
