Poultry - Organic Laying Hen Feeds
Organic Layer Feed – Phase 2 (Week 66 Onwards)
Prepared for the changing nutritional needs of older laying hens. Taking into account the production level and feed intake that change with age, it is used to support continued production, eggshell quality and the overall condition of the flock.
Sustainable feeding in the later production period
From week 66, hens enter a later stage of egg production. At this stage, production level, egg characteristics, body condition and mineral needs may differ from earlier periods.
Bioyem Organic Phase 2 Feed is an organic compound feed prepared for the later-period nutritional needs of laying hens that continue to produce from week 66 onwards.
The aim in this period is not just to sustain production, but to support egg production continuing as evenly as possible while preserving the bird’s current condition.
As age advances, it becomes more important to monitor eggshell quality, mineral balance, feed intake and body condition together.
For this reason, in the later production period a feeding programme suited to the bird’s changing needs should be used, rather than a single programme that simply continues the previous period’s feeds.
