Poultry - Organic Laying Hen Feeds
Organic Layer Feed – Peak Production (20–45 Weeks)
Prepared for use in the period when egg production reaches high levels. It provides balanced nutrition aimed at meeting the nutrients required by high production levels and at supporting egg production and eggshell quality.
Feeding management in the highest production period
In the first part of the laying period, the flock’s egg production rises quickly and reaches its peak. In this period, the hens’ nutrient needs differ significantly from those of the rearing period.
Bioyem Organic Peak Feed is an organic compound feed prepared for the nutritional needs of 20–45-week-old laying hens in their high production period.
The aim in the peak period is not only to support high egg production. Eggshell quality, egg weight, body condition and the overall performance of the flock must also be maintained in balance.
The balance of energy, protein, amino acids, calcium, phosphorus and other nutrients is therefore important.
The feed used in the high production period should be planned to cover the hen’s daily production load, and the effects of over- or under-feeding on flock performance should be taken into account.
